Adrenalator: The Uphill Race Nobody Wins on the First Try

Two riders step onto a 15-foot belt pitched at a 27-degree incline. The belt runs downhill. They run uphill. Whoever reaches the top first wins, and most people never get there.

This is the dual lane model, which is the version that matters. Head to head racing is the whole draw. One rider on a treadmill is exercise. Two riders side by side with a crowd watching is an event, and it is the reason people line up again after they lose.

Underneath the belts is a sprung, impact-absorbing subfloor, and both lanes exit onto inflatable slides, so coming off the back is part of the ride instead of a problem. A digital timer mounted on the header runs the clock, so every attempt gets a number and your crowd gets a leaderboard. Two trained operators run it for the length of your event, each holding a control device with emergency stop capability, one at the entry ramp and one at the exit platform. Setup, teardown, and both operators are included. You supply the crowd.

Before You Book: Site Requirements

The Adrenalator is a trailer-delivered attraction, not a backyard rental. Check these five things against your site before you request a date. If you are not sure, call us and we will walk the requirements with you.

Setup footprint 30 feet long by 20 feet wide of clear ground. The ride stays on its trailer and is operated in place, so wherever the trailer parks is where it runs.
Overhead clearance 18 feet. Check for power lines, service drops, tree limbs, banners, and covered entrances along the whole approach route, not just the setup spot.
Trailer access Trailer-mounted, 28 feet long. We need a drive path and enough room to maneuver the trailer into position and back out.
Power Standard 110 volt household current, one dedicated 20 amp circuit within 50 feet of setup. We supply the extension cord. No power on site at all? A generator can be arranged, but it has to be requested when you book.
Riders 42 inch minimum height. Realistically an attraction for older kids, teens, and adults. Athletic shoes recommended.
Florida heat note: this is a full sprint uphill. For midday events between May and October, plan to set up near shade and a water station. We will help you position it when we confirm your site.

The Adrenalator earns its price when there are people to watch it. Festivals, church events, school carnivals, community district events, homeowner association gatherings, corporate field days, and fundraisers are where it belongs.

What is the Adrenalator and how does it work?

Two riders start at the bottom of a 15-foot belt set at a 27-degree incline and sprint uphill side by side. The belt runs downhill against them, so the only way to reach the top is to outrun it. Most riders last a few seconds. When a rider comes off, an inflatable exit slide carries them safely out.

How much space does it need?

A clear area 30 feet long by 20 feet wide with 18 feet of overhead clearance, plus a drive path with room to maneuver a 28-foot trailer into position. The ride stays on the trailer and is operated in place. That rules out nearly every Cape Coral backyard, which is why this is a festival and large event attraction. Large indoor venues such as convention centers also work.

What are the power requirements?

Standard 110 volt household current. We need one dedicated 20 amp circuit within 50 feet of the setup location, and we supply the extension cord. Most church lots, school buildings, park pavilions, and community centers already have this. The fans that keep the exit slides inflated run continuously while the ride is in use, which is why the circuit needs to be dedicated. If your site has no power at all, a generator can be arranged, but it has to be requested when you book the date.

Who can ride it?

Minimum rider height is 42 inches. In practice this is for older kids, teens, and adults, because it takes a real uphill sprint. Riders should be in reasonable physical condition and wearing athletic shoes.

Do you provide operators?

Yes. Two trained operators run the attraction for the length of your event, one at the entry ramp and one at the exit platform, each holding a control device with emergency stop capability. You do not need to supply staff. Operators, delivery, setup, and teardown are all included.

What does it cost?
