Bounce House & Party Rentals in Punta Gorda, FL
Punta Gorda is the closest out-of-Lee-County market we serve — under 30 minutes from our NW Cape Coral warehouse up Burnt Store Road, Del Prado Boulevard, or Highway 41. For a Charlotte County city, that is an unusually short drive — most Cape Coral rental companies treat Punta Gorda as a stretch, but for us it is essentially a next-door market.
Because the drive is short, delivery to Punta Gorda is often free. The exact answer depends on where in PG and what you are renting — larger inflatables to PGI or Burnt Store, no fee. Small online one-off rentals may carry a small delivery charge. If you want the exact answer, call us at (239) 212-0011 with your address and order.
Chris, my business partner, is a professional surveyor who has spent his career mapping Southwest Florida. He knows the Punta Gorda Isles canal grid, the Burnt Store waterfront, and the Historic Downtown street pattern. If your Punta Gorda event is on a deed-restricted lot, a seawall canal yard, or a historic-home backyard with tight access, we have already thought about how to deliver into it.
Punta Gorda is also where we have built a small but real reputation for more than just inflatables — see the Thanksgiving story below.

Delivery in Punta Gorda
A Short-Drive Market With Real Waterfront Considerations
Punta Gorda is close enough to our warehouse that we run it almost like a Lee County delivery, but the setups themselves have their own considerations:
Seawall and canal-front anchoring (PGI)
Punta Gorda Isles is a canal community. Most PGI backyards have a seawall between the grass and the water, and the grass strip is often narrower than a suburban lot. We anchor with sandbags or deck-safe tie-downs — no stakes near the seawall — and we confirm the setup location when we arrive. If your PGI yard has a pool cage, tell us at booking so we can confirm clearance.
Waterfront wind is real
Charlotte Harbor gets more sustained wind than inland Cape Coral backyards. Our safety threshold is 20 mph sustained — above that, we cannot operate inflatables. Afternoon breezes off the harbor can push a marginal day into a no-go day. We watch the forecast and will contact you if your event is in the weather window.
Historic Downtown setups
The Punta Gorda Historic District has preserved homes on compact lots. A 14-foot Classic Castle usually fits; a 22-foot water slide often does not. Measure your setup area before booking and we will sanity-check it.
Three routes from NW Cape
Burnt Store Road is the scenic route (no traffic, runs along the edge of Burnt Store and into PGI). Del Prado Boulevard north then Highway 41 is the default route for Downtown and Deep Creek addresses. I-75 north is the fastest option for east Punta Gorda (Deep Creek, Punta Gorda east of I-75).
The 50-Chair Thanksgiving in Burnt Store
A Burnt Store family called us for Thanksgiving. Not for a bounce house — for 50 folding chairs. The family was hosting a full extended-family holiday meal and needed seating they could set up, break down, and clear before the day was over.
It is not the most glamorous delivery story we have. A bounce house at a 4th of July party shows up on Instagram. Fifty folding chairs at Thanksgiving does not. But it is the kind of detail that shows what SWFL Amusements actually does — if you are planning a gathering in Punta Gorda that needs equipment we rent, we deliver it. Tables, chairs, speakers, a movie screen for a backyard film night, a foam machine for an anniversary party — not just inflatables. If you need it and we have it, it shows up.
We are actively expanding our Punta Gorda venue list. If you are an event lead for a Punta Gorda HOA, church, community center, or business, call us before you call an out-of-county vendor. We are the closer warehouse.
