How it works

  1. Apply

Fill out the short form below. It takes about two minutes.

  2. Get approved

Pass a background check, send us a completed IRS Form W-9, and walk through our equipment and anchoring requirements once before your first job.

  3. Pick your jobs

When a job opens, we text the network with the date, location, equipment and fee. Reply if you want it. If you're busy, just pass.

  4. Do the job, get paid

Set up or tear down to the job sheet, send completion photos and your invoice, and get paid the same day.

The work

  • Deliver, set up and anchor bounce houses, water slides, obstacle courses and party equipment at customer homes, churches, schools and community events.
  • Come back at the end of the rental to deflate, clean, roll and load the equipment.
  • Every job comes with a job sheet: the address, the equipment, the time setup must be complete, and the manufacturer's anchoring requirements.
  • When setup is done, send a photo of every anchor point and the blower so we can confirm the job is complete.
  • Most jobs fall on weekends. Weekday jobs come up too. Work is occasional, not steady.
Safety is not negotiable. Every setup must meet the manufacturer's anchoring requirements and ASTM F2374, the industry safety standard for inflatable amusement devices. Kids play on this equipment.

What you need

  • 18 years or older.
  • Your own pickup truck, van or SUV that can carry a rolled inflatable. You cover your own fuel and vehicle costs.
  • A valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
  • Able to do physical work outdoors in Florida heat. Most rolled units weigh 150 to 300 pounds. We provide a hand truck. Our largest unit is about 750 pounds and is always a two-person job.
  • Your own work gloves and a sledgehammer for driving stakes.
  • A phone that can send texts and photos.
  • A clean background check.
  • A completed IRS Form W-9 and an invoice for each job.

Experience setting up inflatables, tents or event equipment is a big plus.

This is independent contractor work

  • You are not an employee of SWFL Amusements.
  • No minimum number of jobs. Take as many or as few as you want.
  • No exclusivity. You're free to work for anyone else, including other rental companies.
  • You're paid a flat fee per job, not by the hour.
  • You're responsible for your own taxes, vehicle, auto insurance and health coverage.
